How do we collect information from you?
We receive information from you in 4 ways. Through our contact form on our website: www.pink.cleaning, through our facebook page fb.com/pinkdotcleaning, through our email: firstname.lastname@example.org or through phone calls and texts to us: 07555 102102.
What type of information is collected from you?
- First name and surname
- Phone number
- Email address
- Cleaning information- this would comprise of a cleaning checklist along with access details, alarm details, health and safety and pet information
Due to our data protection and sustainability policy we do not physically hold any data. Any data we hold is held in a secure manner electronically meeting GDPR guidelines.
How is your information used?
- Name and address is used to locate you to provide you with quotes and cleaning services. We also use this information for invoices and correspondence
- Phone number is used as an emergency contact or for things such as access issues to the property
- Email address is used for quotes, invoicing and important updates regarding the business
- Cleaning information is used for the staff to be able to conduct their cleaning duties
Who has access to your information?
Your data is not shared with any other organisation. To conduct their day to day duties, the cleaning team assigned to your property will have electronic access to your name, address, cleaning checklist and notes on a “view only” basis. All staff have received data protection training and any member of staff leaving the company immediately has their access terminated.
Only Simon Long and Joanne Long have master access to your data. This is through two-step authentication and/ or strong passwords.
The small amount of data we hold about you is only held for the minimum amount of time necessary. During this time you can request that your data be updated or removed. You can also request a copy of the data that we hold on you. This can be done by emailing email@example.com and we will aim to respond within a 14 day period.
Use of ‘cookies’

We can only correspond and provide cleaning services to customers who are 18 years old or over.
Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
We do not ask, see or hold any payment information. Any payments to us can be done securely through your bank as a transfer or standing order.
Data is not held on our website therefore if our website is compromised your data remains safe.
Data that we do hold is held under 256 bit encryption meeting GDPR standards and/ or ISO and SOC2 standards.
Any data breech will be immediately reported to you, the customer and the data commisioner within a 72 hour period.
We only hold data for the minimum period neccessarry and you can request a copy of your data, update your data or remove your data at any time. Requests can be made to firstname.lastname@example.org.
